Ohio is has a history that dates back over 13,000 years. the first people that found the state were the american setelers. they found the state just after the American War. All though, the first people to settle in to the state were called the Paleo Indians. Ohio also has the capital of Columbus, and it became a state in 1803. Ohio is acutely the 17th sate and is in the Midwest. The Ohio Lake Erie opened up almost 30 years from when it became a state. people who lived in Ohio at that time were fighting for the US.
